Empidonax hammondii

Good job, Mama! This Hammond's Flycatcher began building her nest the very day I arrived in camp. It sits relatively low in a pine just above the loading area for our mule pack trains. It took her less than 3 days, and she's been sitting on it ever since. Hopefully we will have babies soon!
