7pm on a Friday night.
2 hours before the start of the Opening ceremony to kick of the 2012 Olympics.

The tube was deserted. London eerily quiet. I was expecting crazy crowds. Nope. Nothing. Nobody got on at Oxford Circus. Boris Johnsons announcement welcoming people to the games echoed round the station.

I think the entire of London stayed at home to watch the ceremony.

Can't believe they got the actual Queen to meet James Bond.
