Mike

Nearly every guy in Portland has a beard. So I decided to go native and it's been growing over the last few weeks. Into ace barbers Manly & Sons for a trim and my man was Mike. Lovely bloke who persuaded me to be patient and stick with the beard thing...for now. And before you demand the selfie, the IPad's not letting me add any extras, and Mike's beard is a darn sight better looking than mine.
He was happy to pose under this iconic image of the great Muhammed Ali. Appropriate as he passed on during our time in America. Mike informed me that the date on the poster coincides with his birth date!
