Tarragon (Artemisia dracunculus)

We bought these on the market the other day. Having read wikipedia on the subject, I expect it is the less pungent 'Russian' variety not the 'French' which cannot be grown from seed. Apparently it contains Estragole, a phenylpropene recognised for its toxicity and also found in Basil. I'm not going to loose any sleep and I am going to use it, in spite of the fact that it is inferior to the 'French' variety.
