Camera Comparison

With my newest camera acquisition I now have a total of five functioning cameras. I shot the same scene on each one and stacked the resulting images here. From top to bottom, underwater Canon D30, Panasonic FZ150, Panasonic FZ1000, Canon 7D and Canon 6D. Interesting differences in quality and dynamic range with my full frame 6D coming out on top (as to be expected). Checking the images side by side, I'm quite happy with the performance of the FZ1000 (especially when compared with my older 7D's result) and think it will make a great travel camera given its extended single-lens, long zoom.
