Not-so-busy bee!

Maybe he's on strike for shorter flowers and more honey! Or maybe he's just tired of working his sting off every waking hour while the Queen and her ilk sit on their beehinds doing nothing but feeding and breeding?

More likely he is too cold and damp to move! I know how he feels - where has summer gone? At least it meant I could take a few shots - bees are never usually still for long enough!

I had a nice surprise today as my son Zeph popped back for a visit. So I stopped doing my clearing - out and sat and had a catch-up with him and did a few e mails whilst we watched a few episodes of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia".  Danny de Vito's in it (Remember him?) and it is very, very funny!

After he went to catch his bus back I went off to Tesco. I found they are doing my favourite apple crumble pies again, so I got one! And some lovely strawberries for supper too! (Not both together!)
