Bringing the summer inside
I have been sitting at the table for hours. Sometimes it works that way. After nursery where we'd played a surreal version of Simon Says:
' Simon Says, Be a fence!'
Simon Says, Be Grass!'
Simon says, Be a Goat!'
..I stayed on to do some paperwork, before going to a meeting at the youth project in the High Street. Then I came home and finished the paperwork, then sat down to procrastinate by researching cling film cutters, of all things! Delaying tactics. If I don't go upstairs now and do some meditation/ carry on with my collage before bookclub tonight, I will have missed my chance for days.
These roses are from our garden. Steve cut them this morning. The beautiful pottery jug is from a charity shop. I bought it for 30p, twenty-two years ago.
