My sister Al  and I cleared up the felled and sectioned tree from yesterday in the really irritating and wet rain in the morning. I took a car-full of logs home just in case we need them in the winter.

My Mum was very happy.

Even with a relatively uncongested M25 it took nearly three hours to drive
home.

For those interested in the US gun control debate this is an interesting piece on the AR-15 semi-automatic rifle used in the Orlando and other mass killings. Although not an automatic machine gun the AR-15 in various guises is reckoned to be able to fire at 45 to 180 shots a minute. A standard magazine is 30 rounds but this can be upped to 100. Apparently there are over 3m of these guns in civilian ownership in the US.
