Owl be watching you...

How to pick one photo from today, there were so many to choose from! Had lunch in Grassington before spending too much money in the fudge shop. We headed out to Malham Tarn for a wander around the marshlands and the lake (sorry, tarn), there were so many pretty and interesting flowers to take photos of, although the weather wasn't great...

Drove down to Malham cove where we dropped below the cloud and it turned into a gloriously sunny day. I stopped to ask the RSPB guy at the stand about a bird I'd photographed, and he told us to go over to where a few people had gathered and have a look through the telescope thing, where this little guy was sat! Took a couple of photos but even with my 14x zoom he still looked a bit small, someone suggested taking a photo through the telescope, and here he is! A 6 month old baby owl, very fluffy and very very cute!

Went on to Gordale scar for another wander and then stopped off on the way home to hop over some limestone steps. After all the walking we did I was absolutely shattered, but this little guy totally made my day!
