Hemerocallis 'Mary Todd'

The second peak of the Hemerocallis (day lily) season has started - today we saw the first flower of this one. Hemerocallis citrina also started on the same day. Hooray!

Summery, partly overcast and about +23°C. We mowed the lawn and did quite a lot of weeding.

In the evening our friends N&R came over. They brought some really tasty stuff for the braai. M had made a lovely chocolate cake for dessert. The whole three-course meal was absolutely yummy, and it was great to share the beauty and tranquililty of the garden with our dear friends.
