A bright spot in a sad day. Yesterday's mass shooting was of course followed by far too many people voicing the general opinion that since we will never be able to stop all violence, why make any moves towards gun control. I even heard a woman take it a step further and say that if we take away guns, people will just find another way to kill each other. While on the face of it this is like saying why clean the floor, it's just going to get dirty again, which is laughable, in a way she has a point. In fact, she IS the point - people need to change.
