Birthday tea

Rob's birthday today. He had a lovely day, starting with a lovely birthday cuddle from little George, and cards and presents.
We had to leave our little grandson after a lovely week with him during which he grew quite a lot and became evermore aware of the world around him and gave us some great grins!
So we travelled north to David Austin rose gardens for their special afternoon tea, in the company of David and Maureen. We managed to gobble everything somehow and even bought a rose in the interlude between rainy downpours.
Then on to home and Pepper waiting patiently for us.
We have had a great week!
