Snails Pace....

These two overtook me on the way to work this morning. I had to be at base for 10am today as I was driving the mini bus. The Mancunian way is closed today and tomorrow and I knew that it would be hell getting in to work as the schools went back today, it is a Monday and it was raining too, so I set off at 8am.......it is a journey that on a bad day can take just over half an hour.....it took me THREE FLIPPIN' HOURS!!!!! It was hell on earth, nothing moved. And just to make matters worse I had to get in the mini bus and come all the way back to pass where I live and then go on to Standish. So altogether I drove for four hours this morning....and I have to face it all again in the morning aaaaaaaaargh!!!!

Thank you for all the lovely comments on yesterday's pic of the owl. There are four of us on the front page of Popular with our Yorkshire owls....as I wrote in my text to Chris Evans on Radio 2 this morning and he read out...it was an OWLTASTIC day! I need to sleep now as I'm going to have to leave early tomorrow, but I will try and catch up soon.
