Arrangement

We had a bit of time today with katkatkat and G before they went home. We needed food for the weekend so she came with me to one of our nice farm shops. we all chose pies for lunch so we could eat quickly and go out again.

This afternoon she asked if we could visit the Upfront gallery - always interesting exhibitions on and a really good cafe catering for vegans which means she can get a choice of dairy-free cakes.

I was feeling inspired by the simple flower arrangements on the tables, and told the member of staff so who had done them. I came home and picked two huge hosta leaves and, not having a gerbera in the garden, settled for this thalictrum aquilegifolium. Yesterday The Mate had admired them in the garden and said they would blip well. told him I had blipped in June 2009. Funny how some things stick in your mind due to blipping!

With still some time to spare before our evening meal and their train, we suggested a trip to Rheged to see (again for The Man and I) the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition.
