standing out

According to the weatherman we had sparkling sunshine in the east of Scotland but I didn't notice any! It rained all morning and got a bit bright early afternoon (probably bright enough for a few shadows) and then went dull again.
I took advantage of the brightness, but no direct sun, to try some flower pics and am pleased with the early results, this is one and I like the way just a few flowers are picked out.
New trail route for the run this evening and had company at the back, which was nice.
