Things that make me smile
Thanks to Redflash for her 'anything that makes you smile' mono Monday challenge.
There are lots of things that make me smile or laugh.
The horses in the field often put a smile on my face and today was no exception. I went out this morning, very early, hoping the sky was going to have some colour when I saw a glimpse of the sun lighting up the trees, first smile:) The horses were nearby and the tiny Shetland Pony saw me and came over for a stroke, so soft, smile two :)
Lunchtime arrived and the men in the Christmas tree field took a break from spraying to have lunch, they had the company of about 6 horses all nuzzling their noses in hoping for a tip bit. They were almost in the car, smile three :)
Mike went out and I tidied the kitchen, cleaned the oven and washed the floors, all washing completed, all washing up done , smile four :)
This evening the horses were back and this cheeky one was eating the hedge that lines the garden, it was pulling very funny faces.
Looking back at photos of our first visit is to Skye and the Hebrides. Richard buried up to his neck in sand, David chasing after a beach ball that blew away in the wind never to be seen again and a photo of two cars in Elgol. Those of you who have been to Elgol will know that there is a steep hill that takes you down to the harbour. We were at the bottom waiting for a boat ride when we heard a screeching sound. The 2 VC continued it's decent squealing the whole way down. It then parked next to a very cute car covred by an umbrella. Lots of smiles and many smiles after.
