Mono Monday : What makes you smile

What makes me smile is friends, coffee, cake, chatter and laughter.
Met up with these two friends Elspeth and Elaine, I haven't seen them since last summer. We met in Buxton half way between me and Elaine nearer to Elspeth. We all used to work together in Bradford but now Elspeth and I have retired and Elaine moved to Nottingham with her lovely husband.
We were going to have a walk or look at the caverns where we met but instead we sat in the cafe for 4 hours!!!!! We did have lunch then afternoon tea but we talked and talked and talked and laughed. It was great to meet up with them and we have already arranged the next one.
