Waterford Crystal

We traveled from Clonmell this morning in heavy rain to Waterford. By the time we arrived it had just about stopped raining.

The first thing we did was go around Waterford Crystal Factory, which was very interesting, we both are in treated in seeing glass being made.

Although we did not buy anything from there, as we had found a Crystal shop in Dingle, the chap who made the crystal at Dingle, had been trained at Waterford and had worked there for many years, but had been made redundant when the factory went to more automated methods, we like his glass and also thought it was good to have something he had made.
