THUGS!

When I photographed this little nod towards biodiversity last year, it was a lot more democratic, but this year it has been taken over by the Coquelicots.

I much prefer the French name for the red Field Poppy - a couple of Bleuets (Corn Flowers) & a few Californian Poppies have managed to survive, but all the others seem to have given up the battle to survive...

Shoved out by the Coquelicots...
