and what a beautiful soul it is!  

The company we rent our flat from has agreed that we can have a new floor laid.  This afternoon we went to check out the options.  I really liked the oak finish floor.  Mr K really liked a darker one, which I absolutely didn't want.  Luckily on further inspection it wasn't an option. (Phew!)  It wasn't on the company's list of approved finishes.  Apart from the oak the only other choice is a smoother looking finish with an orangy tinge to it.  Hmmm...
Mr K is 'thinking it over'...  ;-)
