A string of jewels

It has rained heavily all day today. It was so bad this morning that the walking group cancelled the walk (a very rare occurrence) forcing me to catch up with things at home.

In one of the short breaks between the rain the sun came out for a moment. I caught it shining on raindrops that had landed on a spider's web in the garden. They looked so beautiful and much like a jewelled necklace.
