What a Grey Day ( back blip)

........even the birds looked glum :-(

Hubby and I finally agreed on something.......yesterday while we were at the DIY store we spotted some shelving units that looked like they would fit into the cupboard under the stairs, so we took measurements to check.........they did...just :-)
So we bought some, brought them home and assembled them.  We were very pleased as they looked nice and sturdy and were just what we were looking for.........then we tried to put them into the cupboard.........and hadn't accounted for the narrow door in our calculations and we couldn't get them in by 2mm, GRRRRR!!
We finally got three out of the four in by removing all the door keeps and juggling them about......but what a performance it turned out to be.....we were sweating and exhausted by the time we got them in......and then we had to sort out the huge heap of junk treasured belongings  that came out of there.
I actually managed to throw some things away and put some in a charity bag, so I have a nice tidy cupboard, which is a good feeling.......but I wouldn't do it again in a hurry!!!  :-))
