Showhouse for a Cure

I met 3 of my friends this morning & we drove together to the "Showhouse for a Cure", an event we attend each year. For this event The Breast Cancer Society works with a person or family that offers their home to be used for a week of tours; once the house is chosen, area decorators are each assigned a room in the home to decorate---furniture, rugs, dishes, accesories, etc.--then they sell tickets to people to tour the home & all the money raised goes for breast cancer research. This is their 19th year, & over those 19 years they've raised millions of dollars! This year's home was my favorite of all the ones we've been to--the architectural elements were amazing! This picture is of the owner's old restored Ford truck--he also had several old restored motorcycles in the "garage". I have "garage" in quotes as it was more a showroom than a garage, & the vehicles were right next to the "theater and virtual golf room"! Very swank! :))
