I do like to be beside the seaside.....

It rained on an off today, so when it brightened up a little ~2pm I took the opportunity to go out and look for a blip. My wanderings took me (Charlii and Rosie) to Shoreham and it's wonderful species rich shingle beach.
I think this is Slender thistle Carduus tenuiflorus, a locally common coastal species which was growing very luckily in front of my favorite local beach huts!!!!!
