Blipping Beautiful Birds

What a blipping marvellous day! I joined eleven other blippers at Haworth for a bird of prey day. There were owls, kestrels, hawks, kites, vultures and merlins and they were absolutely gorgeous. They swooped, they dived, they soared and they posed and we clicked and clicked and clicked. Batteries were maxed out and cards were jam packed with beautiful birds and we loved every minute of it. 

The sun shone before lunch and the rain fell after lunch. We lay in wet grass, we had soggy bottoms, but we didn't care....we were transfixed by our beautiful feathered friends. Did I mention the baby owls....oh they were just gorgeous, all fluffy and soft with huge curious eyes. 

It was so hard to catch them flying, but I managed a few shots. It has been so hard to choose just one pic from the hundreds I took. Now I want to go on one of the African photography trips that they do.....
