Davaar Island

Cloudy start to the day but brightening by the afternoon.
Today for a change for our walk we went out to the car park for Davaar Islandand headed out towards New Orleans with Maeve then headed  back towards the car.
Back at the car we let Maeve have a snooze in the back seat while we headed out towards the beacon which marks the safe approach to Campbeltown Loch.
Not a walk for Maeve as the deep shingle gives way underfoot.
I liked this view of Davaar Island from the shingle bank.
