End of season & jubilee

We were supposed to go to son no 1's last field hockey match for this season, but this morning he got a message that their opponents had cancelled the match because most of that team were at a music festival !
So we were thinking of a quiet day at home when son no 1 called to say we were expected at the home ground anyway. Surprise, surprise, we then were thanked for being their most faithful supporters at every away game, no matter how far away it was. And given a jubilee towel and a lovely hamper of wine and other goodies. Very nice !

Obviously when we got home we did hear more about the horrible shooting massacre in Orlando. Such terrible news, of course horrible things happen in war zones every day,  with just as many if not more victims, but to mindlessly kill people who are out in a nightclub in the free world is so shocking.
