Sisters Doing it for Themselves.

Fabulous Day in Leeds today as the ITU World Triathalon Series held its fifth leg in the city. The course was designed by the Brownlee Brothers who won gold and bronze in the 2012 Olympics. They bettered that today by gaining gold and silver. Fantastic for them to do it in their home city with fantastic support from the massive crowds.
We were on the first train leaving Ilkley this morning and then got a shuttle bus to Roundhay Park to see the women's race begin.The swim took part in the lake there and then the athletes changed over to the cycling leg. We hopped back on the shuttle bus to Leeds Centre and took up the finish of the cycling and then the running.
I decided to do a collage of the women's event because female sporting events often play second fiddle to the mens. There were some fine athletes there and the race was won by :

Duffy ( Bermuda)
Holland (GB)
