Aaaah!

An unusual image for me as a fully signed up member of the "best cat is a dead cat" school of thought. That said this will probably be a dead cat soon.....
Our neighbour's cat has kittens every year which the neighbour then promptly kills. Unfortunately mother rears then in one of our barns so we become quite attached to them before their inevitable death. They probably are quite sweet.
One downside is that the mother becomes a real scrounger and managed to open an oven last night to get at the roast chicken in there for (un)safe-keeping. Probably really can't begrudge her too much.
Off then tonight to the village to the local bar before another enormous meal at home where we were joined by one of the neighbours - don't mention the kittens!
