carnival ride

Looking closely at this little pink flower conjured up thoughts of a Disneyland ride. I can imagine the petals coming down to form a platform for children to walk across to the center, where they are lifted into the swings (anthers), and then fly around the central pole (pistil) to some perky tune, while the petals flap up and down.
Wow, I think I'm ready to hit some rides with my grandsons!
