Big Thumb!

I thought today my Blip would be something Olympic related, what with the growing excitement of the opening ceremony and the coverage already on tv of football and archery.

However this morning James woke up with a swollen thumb, and slowly over the course of the morning it got bigger and bigger, with a nasty looking white area by the nail. A not so quick trip to the walk in clinic (we were waiting 2 hours to be seen) and my suspicions were confirmed that it needed to be drained!

James was very brave and is now proudly sporting a bandage which wouldn't look out of place in a child's toy medical kit!
