Royal Cornwall Show
Today Ann went to the 'Royal Cornwall Show'. Going to the 'Royal Cornwall Show' meant that I had to get up and go on my morning walk before 6am??!! Getting up at 5.45am is very early for a gorgeous little collie. And that is why there are no other people/dogs in this Blip?!!
After I came back from my walk, I had my breakfast and then I had snooze time while I waited for Christian, (my very lovely dogsitter), to come and get me.
Ann did not have snooze time – she had to drive half an hour to her friend’s house and then off they went to the ‘Royal Cornwall Show’. They queued & queued & queued??!! They queued for about 12 miles. What is it about the great British public that makes them want to get up early and sit in traffic queues? They eventually got to the Royal Cornwall Show about 9.15am. I was still snoozing in my bed at that time.
I’ve been at my dog sitters for most of the day and had a fabulous time.
Ann has had a fabulous time too. She’s lived in Cornwall for almost 20 years and has never, ever, been to the ‘Royal Cornwall Show’. What a great day out.
But do you know what................... She got home just after 8pm and all I’ve heard since she got home is.................... how wonderful the ‘duck & dog’ show was. Apparently three rescue collies were brilliant at herding ducks through tunnels and up steps to slide down a slide into a paddling pool. Grrrr................. Well, I bet if Ann had trained me to do that, I could?!!!
..............And now I’m lying flaked out, pretending to be asleep, because I’m fed up hearing how brilliant other collie’s are??!!!
