Forgotten Object

My Grandad's vintage Bakelite HMV radio. It's a forgotten object really, which is the FB Pic of the Week theme so as I like it I thought it could be my blip too. Sits in my study but long long time since it was used though amazingly it does still work.

His Master's Voice. THe Gramophone Company Ltd, Hayes, Middlesex. Cannot accurately date it but just done some searching and think this model was made in 1957. .Model No: 1131, Serial No: 4082.

What a great sporting treble today. England rugby won this morning, England cricket on top at Lords and England football will no doubt spoil the party tonight! But what a relaxing day for a sports fan.
