Damselflies

A nice relaxing day at home and a couple of short walks nearby.
I saw these two common blue damselflies on the path opposite the pond. they were quite tricky to photograph as they kept flying off every time I inched a bit closer. They were very low to the path as well making it awkward. I came across some more single ones along the nearby farm track this afternoon and it makes me wonder how many get trampled by unsuspecting blippers?

Oh yes I finally finished that book this morning. It had a strange but not surprising ending. I don't think I'll be reading anything else by the same author.
