Raindrops on roses

After coffee with friends in town and a quick call in at the shop to check there was no work to collect, I returned home for a walk, dodging the showers, before settling down for a sports fest.  I have now posted my vote for the referendum and am following the campaign with interest and concern.  The issues are complex and I do not believe that such an important matter should have been put to a referendum.  There is a risk that decisions will be made based on emotion and fear or biased and inaccurate information.  I doubt the opinions of academics, experts or balanced argument will count one jot.
