Teasmaid!!……..

……out of leftovers……some of yesterdays chicken thighs, a few boiled potatoes, some homemade (I'll NEVER eat all that before it goes off) humus, 3 slightly slushy tomatoes, the last of a bag of mushrooms, a few small red peppers, a red onion that was just starting to show signs of new growth, the last of a jar of honey (y'know, those very sticky dregs in the bottom and the crusty bits under the rim?) and some miscellaneous herbs out of the garden (though not necessarily in that order!)……it tastes remarkably nice……considering;-)

Many years ago we used to have a Teasmaid (OK, so it wasn't a real one, it was a cheap knock-off copy!), I seem to remember it used to start snuffling, gurgling and spitting about half an hour before the alarm was due to go off…….we didn't have it long……..
