Into The Great Wide Open

I have wanted to blip this view for a while, so this morning, as it is my day off, we trudged up to the top of the lane and waited for the sun to shine on the great wide open.

Which it did eventually. Rather reluctantly, I thought, but then it isn't used to shining in these parts.

I hope it does get used to it. It might even like to stay. That would be choice!
