A Great Outing

Hey Alice, let's go for a geocaching adventure and bring a picnic! Said mum this morning. As you can imagine, I was thrilled and thought she took too long to pack. She claims she wanted to make sure nothing was forgotten.

So. We drove south and ended up at yet another small open air museum, with old buildings and neatly cut lawns. They were in fact being cut by two people while we were there, so we had to go into stealth mode when we started searching for today's geocaches. Up in a tree (!), under a broken bird house, by the stream. Four Found it! which is not bad.

Mum decided we had then earned our picnic, so we went over to yet another castle with grounds open to the public for that. The only downside with freeze dried picnic food like kebab casserole is that you have to wait eight minutes for it to cook... But it was well worth the wait. I spent the time checking out new lambs and sheep being released in a nearby meadow. Happy!
