All Ears

"I'm dozing, Mum!  What did you say?"

Dolly enjoyed a lazy day while I scurried around this morning, trying to get caught up on a few things after my couple of days away.

I also went to a Memorial service for a well-loved family friend this afternoon (see extra photo). Marj was loved by many and there were over 250 people at her service - a real celebration of her life and how she touched and blessed all of us. We had already said goodbye to her husband, Noel, just over two years ago.  (See this blip) Noel had lived in our family home in the late 70s and so he and Marj were so special to our family. Marj was an Oncology nurse and had even nursed my mum both on the Oncology ward and in the hospice - the same one where she herself passed away a couple of weeks ago. Marj lived life to the full and is missed by so many.  But her well-lived life is an inspiration to us all!
