Flower friday - Poppy

The trouble with poppies is that they don't last long.. but when they are in flower they are fantastic!!  I liked the texture and colour of this picture today taken with my iphone and mini clip on macro lens.

(l was commissioned to make meringues for 30 people for a party tomorrow and thought the yolks looked just like a flower!)
