The dainty Pasque Flower or Pulsatilla seedheads are attractive and these are especially so with the raindrops.
They remind me of the delicate connections within the brain which affect all of our thoughts, movements and abilities.  Having spent three days seeing my parents it is sad to see how disease is greatly affecting my father, once a very intelligent and articulate leader, but who now has little comprehension or memory and is totally dependent on others for everything.
