Peony bud

This is a bud on my wonderful Bowl of Beauty peony.  It should be fully open either tomorrow or Sunday.  I have no idea why but this year there are only three buds on it which is a real shame.

Well we got the promised rain, a heavy downpour so no need to water the garden.
