Abstract in blue

We had a wonderful time at the vineyard in Duncan, celebrating the recent retirement of two good friends (see extra).  It was cool and raining so we couldn't dine al fresco.  The food was outstanding and the both the red and white wines were delicious (I sampled both).  The company was the best part - so good to catch up with these two.  Bonus:  another of my previous colleagues and former program secretary arrived with a group celebrating a birthday.  It's been years since we saw her, so it was awesome to see her as well! 
It's been a couple of weeks since I took part in Abstract Thursday, so I decided on an abstract for the main blip.
