Max & Mindy

I went with Dad this afternoon to where he keeps the ponies as Max & Mindy had to be corralled into a small area.  The 'grass' is quite lush right now and the ponies are starting to show signs of laminitis.  As a result they are now confined to a small area of grass so their intake of the lush grass can be limited.  Poor things don't understand that their never ending eating is what is causing their feet to be tender.  Only 2-3 weeks ago they still had their long shaggy winter coats.

This morning Mum and I went and had a cuppa with Margaret at her new temporary home.  She is now in a small flat at the side of one of the houses along Gills Pier.

I spent time weeding the south driveway today.  Hopefully the rain will hold off tomorrow so I can weed out there some more and it will be a nice day for a wedding here on Westray and one at the Cathedral in Kirkwall tomorrow.  Sunshine would be much appreciated!!
