The final touches....

Today was the last day of shooting at Dunbar Garden Centre for my exhibition of flower photography. There were a couple of shots I wanted to cover and one was of this fountain feature which I have long admired. Unfortunately it is situated right in the middle of a number of large garden ornaments and it is far to heavy to move. Having chosen which flowers i wanted to display in it, I then set about photographing it trying to avoid as many of the surrounding features as possible. However, there was still quite a lot of clearing up I had to do in Photoshop this afternoon including a change of background so it has taken me quite a while to get a reasonable looking image. Ideally it would have been great to have the fountain operating as well but you cannot have all your wishes come true and that was a photoshop project too far !

Now comes the real hard work - all the printing and mounting.
