Bearded Iris

Not the most glamorous name for a flower. I can't recall the rest of it.  I like the strange colours that these come in, what they used to call  'art shades', meaning I suppose that they are  a bit  - unusual?

I haven't been further than the garden today, and the weather has been dismal. Not usefully, like rain, just dull, misty, grey, depressing. So no pictures except what's in flower.  This one just opened and seems to be saying 'June?? You're kidding!'

Lupins for the extra, cheap as chips and just as cheerful.
