Ali Tribute #7: Giving

"True giving comes when we give from our heart"   (Muhammad Ali)

"Champions aren't made in the gyms. Champions are made when they have something deep inside them: a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill. "

Muhammad Ali had the will to hold out with his Parkinson's disease for over 30 years - more than double the time he was actually a competitive boxer.

And he gave his will, his heart and his best years to a cause much bigger than himself.

The extra is a shot (from distance) of the Muhammad Ali Exhibition Center in Louisville. It shows a series of artistic images of Ali in motion as seen from the ringside.

Noted British poet Benjamin Zephaniah has penned a Tribute to the life of this sporting and cultural giant.
