Buncton Chapel

On my way back from visiting my Mum (who was agile enough to get in my car and go out to lunch!!)  I stopped and followed a steep footpath through a tree lined hollow to Buncton Chapel, West Sussex. It is isolated in a field, making it very picturesque in this rural setting.
I understand it was built in the 11C but altered using 12C and 14C materials. It was unlocked so I spent a while in the in the peace and quiet there before driving home.
