A day of frustrating little issues today, lots of niggly things that should have been easily resolved. Eventually it became clear they probably wouldn't. Frustrated I went and sat in the garden betwixt showers and thought to myself, "well it's not life and death". Unlike the extra....which shows what I think is a Walnut Orb Weaver, albeit a very dark and poorly marked one. But boy was she big, a good 15mm, that's a daddy long-legged she's wrapping for dinner.

Tonight we've inspirational Yvie Johnson staying with us again now in the home straight on her epic Lands End to John O'Groats and back run, so I will do my best to catch up with your journals over the weekend.
