Flower Friday

Late last night Adam and Molly arrived from Cambridge to spend the night, a little post exam break. Together with an enormous amount of laundry from my son - to be fair, he did ask if he could bring it home as it is easier to wash it here than at university - and he has been working at full pace for the last few weeks and has not had time to do any laundry.

It was lovely to see both of them and then after a late lunch they left to go back to Cambridge, as although exams are finished they have a few end of year summer balls to attend next week. I did take some photos of them but they asked me not to put them on blip! Instead we have a beautiful new rose bud for Flower Friday.

Luke is arriving home late tonight from his 'rugby' tour to Portugal. He told his dad he has had eight hours sleep all week!! I can just imagine what he will look like after this week away with no sleep and too much partying  - he will be home for a few days until he goes back to Durham to pack up his room before returning home again for the summer holidays at the weekend.
